Educated in Fine Art and Art History at Bucknell University, where she received the Edith Fetherston Award for her work as a printmaker and at the School of Visual Arts where she studied graphic arts, Lisa Miller has explored many media.  She has worked as a Graphic Designer in New York City for several companies including Union Carbide, Merrill Lynch and Mondello Associates and in recent years has devoted herself to the art of Watercolor.

In the last few years she has had seven solo shows in Bergen County and participated in juried shows in New Jersey and London.  She was a member of Piermont Fine Arts Gallery and is currently showing her work at the Opus One Gallery in Ridgewood.  Previous shows include Hartgers Interiors in Wyckoff and Arielle’s Gallery in Englewood.  Notecards with scenes of Ridgewood are available at Bookends in Ridgewood.

Lisa also teaches watercolor at the Stable in Ridgewood and does commission House Portraits.  Her work is in many private collections on the east coast and abroad.
